Knorr Milanese risotto with saffron and mushrooms

Saffron is what makes a risotto alla milanese, and it is already in the pack, along with porcini and slippery jack mushrooms. Knorr Milanese risotto uses 92% Italian rice, so the grains hold together instead of turning to mush.

Bring the pack to the boil in 7dl of water, half-cover the pan and let it reduce for about eighteen minutes. Off the heat, stir in butter and grated parmesan and let it rest two minutes. It is gluten free and vegan until you add the dairy at the end.
